Albert & Carolyn Boland's Medical Needs

My name is Tonya, and I, along with Regina & Stacy, are fundraising for Albert & Carolyn Boland (our parents). On January 6th, Albert was taken to the hospital. After lots of test & and scans, they found a brain tumor that is too deep for surgery. It was confirmed soon after that it is cancer. After going into remission from Esophageal Cancer, they recently found some spots on his lungs & now the brain tumor. For years, he worked his family owned farm and worked at Georgia Pacific for 30+ years. Not long after retirement, he was diagnosed with cancer. The last 4 yrs have been a battle for sure, but he has never once given up fighting. If you know him, you are blessed. He has a heart bigger than anyone we've ever known and tough as nails. Recently he has been very tired & weak. Carolyn recently had shoulder surgery & needs to have back surgery. They do not need to be home alone for long at all. We tried to seek in home help during the day while we are all working. They both worked so hard all their lives while always being so loving & giving to others. We hope to raise enough to help them with out of pocket cost for their care & needs. Any amount will help & be greatly appreciated. Every bit raised will go directly to them.
