Albert Dube Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Albert Dube Sr. was suddenly taken from his family on Saturday, May 23rd. His family is reeling and completely devastated. Albert leaves behind his wife Veronica, and children Albert Jr., Jacob, and Sophie. He was the sole support for his family, and the weeks and months ahead will be a struggle as they adjust to this loss.
Many of you may know Jacob and Sophie from 4-H and the Livestock show world. Sophie is currently President of Adams 4-H and Jacob is Treasurer. They have been an integral part of the officer team for their club this year.
Jacob is one of the best young fitters around, and spends countless hours not only on his animals, but literally anyone else who asks for help. You can always find him at the fitting area, clippers in hand.
Sophie is the social butterfly, laughing and joking at each show. She has an infectious smile that lights up the room. She is always happy to help anyone with showmanship.
This year, Sophie and Jacob each have a steer to show, as well as a hog and a lamb for Jacob. You may also see them in the goat ring representing Emerald Livestock.
These are the kind of kids who we love in the livestock world, they pay for their own feed and animals, they work non-stop at shows, they help everyone, and they are kind. They earn every ribbon they have ever received.
We don't want to loose them in our livestock family because of this loss. We would like to help this family navigate the uncertainty they are now facing, and make sure that they have enough support to finish their projects this year and have more in the future.
Please help us show this family how many they have touched over the years and that 4-H and livestock families stick together. We are hoping to provide them financial stability so that they can heal and maintain some sort of normalcy without having to downsize the kids projects. In these uncertain times, we know all of us are strained, any level of support helps at this time.
