Albert Tremblay Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
My father, Al Tremblay of Brownfield, ME and formally of Salem, MA was struck with tragedy when he lost his entire house and life's belongings in a fire on Sunday, November 26th in the middle of the night. Sadly, the fire took his best friend and sidekick Benji (RIP), who alerted him of the fire which ultimately saved his life.
Many have the privledge of knowing my father by his super human craftsmanship, intense passion, and big heart. He is a true artist and master of his craft. While my father had built many homes for others including friends and family, he began building his home in Maine 35 years ago. Over the years he transformed his land into a "camp", and eventually to a full time oasis adding some of his well sought after masonry and log work. Little by little, it became my father's place of peace. While my father's work can be found all over the White Mountain region and sprinkled across Dugway Road, his home was always a work in progress and uniquely Al. It was an envelop style home made with lots of love, some chaos (because that's my Dad), and held nearly a lifetime of memories. The serenity of it's location brought some of the most breath taking mountain views, sunsets, and star gazing.
While my father is one of the strongest men I've ever come to know, it's no secret that he's been through more loss than any one person should have to bear in such a short span of time. My father's home was unfortunately not insured so he is in need of kind hearts and helping hands to get him back on his feet and rebuild a fraction of the life he once had. While nothing could ever replace his losses or his best friend and home, with your help we can begin to find a way to bring him some comfort and happiness again.
Your donations will help with paying for basic needs like food, shelter, clothing, medication, transportation, and other unexpected expenses that we haven't yet considered. On behalf of my father and family, we thank you for your support no matter how big or small. Our prayers and thoughts go to all those affected by devastating fires.
