Alberta & Bob Atcheson expenses
Donation protected
On December 31st our dear friends', the Atcheson family (as well as Maxwell, Patrick, Holcombe families), experienced a devastating loss. Their grandparents/parents were involved in a terrible car accident that took the life of Alberta "Momo" Atcheson, age 79. Bob "Granddaddy" Atcheson, 87, was taken to the Kennestone hospital for serious injuries and is in the ICU there still.
Alberta would have turned 80 years old in less than 24hr, on 1/1/21. For her birthday she wanted a dance party because she loved to dance, so that's what the family had planned for the following day.
Alberta was always warm and friendly to me, as a family friend, and was so much more to her family. She was the life of the party, an "energizer bunny," the mediator, a giver, had a green thumb, and was so loving and accepting to everyone. Her family will miss her beyond words and are in much distress with Bob's condition.
Alberta Atcheson's funeral was held at Clark funeral home in Hiram, GA Thursday on January 7th. It was a beautiful tribute to her life and legacy.
With long and complicated hospital stays, many surgeries, and a funeral come many expenses. We are asking for financial support for the family during this time, as they grieve and try to figure out how to proceed with legal fees, huge expenses, etc. Thank you for what you can give.
Update on Bob: he's been able to talk to family on zoom, telling them he loves them all.
