Greetings Everyone!

 

My name is Albert “Silas” Kim.
I am originally from Washington, D.C. region, but the Father has called me to come to YWAM Kansas City to become His missionary to do His Will.

I am currently enrolled as a student attending a Discipleship Training School at YWAM.
I am spending 6 months here being trained to become a Missionary to spread the Gospel of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
The first 3 months is the Lecture phase, and the next 3 months is the outreach phase.
The first track of the training is equipping to learn how to edify the body in the church, memorize scripture, an in-depth inductive bible study, prophetic evangelism, and preach the gospel to the unreached unengaged people groups.
The second track of the training is that I will be ministering to the Unreached Unengaged People Groups in India in the10:40 Window, who has never heard the Gospel ever.


What is YWAM?
YWAM is a Christian-Protestant International Inter-denominational World-wide Global Missionary Organization since 1960, founded by Loren Cunningham.
There are over 600 YWAM Bases in over 180 Countries and 97 languages around the World. Locations such as Korea, China, Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Hawaii, Washington D.C., California, Mexico, Spain, Ireland, UK, France, Germany, Austria, India, Middle East, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand, and more!


My outreach date starts in Sept 30, 2015.
I will be leaving to India for 3 months. Oct 5, 2015 – Dec 18, 2015.



Now what exactly is the UUPG “Unreached Unengaged People Groups”?

The Nation of India is vastly similar to the United States of America’s demographics.
There are many different races, ethnicities, religions, languages, dialects, backgrounds that make up India.
There are Asians, Whites, Africans, South Asians, Middle Easterns, etc.
However, The difference is that, USA has had over 400 years of Gospel Education provided, whereas India does not even know the Gospel and why it’s significantly known for a reason called “The Good News”. India has UUPG, where these type of people groups has never had the opportunity to even HEAR the gospel of Jesus Christ.
They have been believed that everything is based on religion, humanistic empire, and conditional reward.

With this said, YWAM is currently training me to preach the Gospel to these people groups in India.
The Harvest is Plentiful, but the Laborers are Few.
I am a laborer, And I honestly believe there needs to be more Laborers in order for the Harvest to be Reaped.

Lecture Phase: $1,990 (Room & Board), $10 Key Deposit, & Free Tuition: Paid.
Outreach Phase: $7,000: $2,000 (Round Trip Air Fare), & $5,000 (Room, Board, Transportation, Utilities, Medical Provisions).

Outreach AirFare $2,000 is due Aug 17, 2015.
Outreach $5,000 is due Sept 4, 2015.
