Alcala's Automotive Machine Shop has been a family owned and operated business for 29 years.  Unfortunately, on Christmas day, we received the devastating news that our building caught fire. His shop was the last automotive machine shop in the Monterey County. The loss of my fathers business will have a devastating impact on the local agriculture and car communities. My father's reputation with the community was one to be flexible to those with financial constraints, to serve as a mentor and to give an honest assessment for those seeking expertise. In a time where we feel defeat, I ask that we help! My Father is a loving husband, a great dad and a man of faith. For 29 years, he poured his heart and soul into his shop and it is essentially who he is. As we strive to overcome this hardship, I would like to assist my Father as well as his employees financially as they have relied of the shop to support their families. In time, we can rebuild his lifelong passion. Although it will not be easy, we are hopeful. I appreciate those who are able to contribute.
