Alden and Broadway House has 135 flats combined and we are located in Hackney, east London. Alden and Broadway Community Garden is located by the side of Broadway House on Sheep Lane, not to far from Broadway Market.
Alden and Broadway Tenants and Residents Association is run by tenants and residents who are all Volunteers.
Our aims and Inspirations are to Provide social activities to unite residents and local people together as a Community regardless of race, religion or gender and to recognize and promote diversity.

The 'New Alden and Broadway Community Garden' we are hoping to create will be disabled friendly with higher raised planters that will be easy to grow in and be suitable for wheelchair users, disabled and elderly people as well.
The garden will have a Path going through to the end where we are planning to have a Green House / Meeting Room big enough to hold activities and classes in , such as 'Indoor Gardening' ; 'Art and Crafts' ; 'Chair exercises' and lots more.
The New Green House/ Meeting Room will bring the local community together for regular classes and activities on a weekly basis.
Weekly gardening sessions will take place. A activities timetable will be available. Alden and Broadway community garden will be free to use for everyone. 'Below is a photo of the old existing garden':

The new design and Updates will be available on the 'Community Vegetable Garden Improvements Page < Click Here
The New Community garden will welcome anyone local without a garden of their own and not just residents of Alden and Broadway Estates. We need to raise as much money as we can so we can start the new disabled friendly community garden as soon as possible but latest by July 2021.
The money raised will be used for landscape gardening and materials, including Planters, Large Green House / Meeting Room, Flowers, Pergola and the Path and Paving around the planters.
We appreciate any donations, no matter how small they are, every penny will go towards the 'New Community Vegetable Garden'. All Supporters will be kept up to date and will be invited to attend on the opening day.
Thank You for your kind support.
