Alderton Community Orchard Action Group

Help fund a Community Orchard and Wildlife Haven for the benefit of all residents of Alderton, Gloucestershire.

A group of residents in Alderton have set up this GoFundMe with a view to purchasing the 1.1 acre paddock to the north of Orchard Road. Our idea is to raise funds to purchase the land, with a view to setting up a community orchard and wildlife space to benefit all.

Alderton is a beautiful ancient village in the Cotswolds which has doubled in size in the last few years. We welcome all new and old residents to share in this community space and help to protect this haven for wildlife.

The community space would be managed by a Trust with opportunity to be involved by those who donate and to be enjoyed by all residents, as well as the School and Pre-School pupils. Any donation is welcome to make this a beautiful and peaceful sanctuary.

We have been informed that the land will go on the open market from 1st September 2024.
