Ale’s Story:
PLEASE SHARE POST
We never think it’s going to happen to us…until it does.
I write this post with so much hope that it will come across the right people. That through the power of social media, someone will come forward with information to help find those responsible for what happened to my sister.
On Valentine’s Day, my sister walked out of our house to go on her Valentine’s Day dinner with her boyfriend. Two unknown men approached her and her boyfriend while in our drive-way, in a grey sedan (possibly Toyota Camry). One of men jumped in the driver’s seat of her boyfriend’s car and attempted to flee. My sister attempted to stop him and fought back. During the struggle between her and the man trying to take off with the car, they collided and it is believed she tried to exit the car while still in motion and was pinned somehow in between the car door and a nearby wall, where the car collided.
My sister suffered a pelvic fracture and left femur fracture. She is at UMC hospital and then will be transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation center soon to begin her long journey to recovery including; regaining full mobility and learning how to walk again.
This was an uncalled for act of violence, happening in our community, yet there is NO NEWS COVERAGE about this incident. Metro told us this was not the first incident in our area (Washington/ Mt. Hood).
I beg anyone with information to please come forward. PLEASE! Someone knows something.
Details:
Area: Washington/ Mt. Hood
Date: February 14, 2022
Time: 7:50 PM
Suspects: 1 black male (16-22 yr old)
1 white male (16-22 yr old)
Vehicle: Grey sedan (possibly Toyota Camry).
The black male might have suffered some visible injuries due to the collision and from my sister trying to fight him off.
We ask for help from our community to identify these losers and put a stop to this. Please share this post and tag a local news station.
A Go Fund me has been started to help my family cover expenses for the long recovery ahead. If you find it in your heart to offer a small contribution, we would forever be grateful.
Thank you.
