Alejandra Torres: Honoring Her Life, Supporting Her Family.

Hello, my name is Briana Ramirez and I’m reaching out for help during the most difficult time of our lives. My mother, Alejandra Torres, has passed away on 09/26, despite our hopes and prayers for a transplant. On her final days, her strength gave way, and now we’re left trying to navigate a world without her.

She was more than just a mother to me and my two younger siblings—she was the heart of our family. A grandmother to my 6-month-old baby girl, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness and warmth. Despite battling her illness she greeted everyone with a smile at Tacos Martinez, where she became a cherished member of the community.

Now, as the oldest of her three children, I’m doing my best to take care of my siblings while grieving and adjusting to life without her. This fundraiser will help us cover the funeral and burial expenses, and will also help me adjust to the new living expenses that come with taking custody of my siblings.
