Alejandro Acosta Memorial Fund
Alejandro Acosta, our friend and colleague, passed away unexpectedly yesterday.
I know Alex was a friend to many of you, and was known for being kind, gentle, caring and thoughtful. He was always quick to jump in and help any client or colleague that needed support - not just because it was part of his job, but because that’s who he was. Generous in word and action, through and through. Alejandro has left a big hole in our team, and I believe I speak for all of us when I say he will be deeply missed.
Alex leaves behind his wife Anna, who is four months pregnant with their first child, making this news even more heartbreaking. Please join me in thinking of Anna and all of Alex's family as they face what is going to be a very tough time.
Alex was also a huge part of the bicycling community and family in Boulder and they've shared the following:
Alejandro found extreme joy in the bicycling community and where his infectious smile and happiness was even bigger than in his personal life. He rode with many different groups of people, with the same personality as always - have fun and help others. He loved riding bicycles in the road, and newly found joy in his mountain bike. He loved to push himself and other people to be the best they could be, and try their hardest.
Please share a story, memory, or photo of Alejandro for his wife, family and baby to help remember him and all of the light he brought to everyone he knew.
