Alese Patrick Hairston

Alese has been in ICU in Jackson Miss since Friday April 1, 2022. She originally went to the ER here in Hattiesburg for dehydration which resulted from being sick for a few days. While she was at the ER there was an accident that resulted in a brain bleed. She was airlifted to Jackson to UMMC where she was put into a medically induced coma, put on a ventilator and had a drain tube in her head to drain off the fluid.

She is a teacher at one of our local high schools and will not be able to return to teaching for this year at the very least. Her husband, Fred, has been driving to and from Jackson every single day to stay with her while also taking care of his 16 year old son. Obviously this has put a huge financial strain on them. The impending hospital bills are honestly just to scary to think about and she still has a long road ahead of her and we have no idea when she will be able to go home.

Not only are the hospital bills racking up but having no income for a month is making it worse.

Alese is the sweetest, kindest, funniest and most down to earth person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and calling my friend. Alese is a true friend. She’s the friend that you can call at any hour of the day or night and will drop everything to help a friend in need. She’s the one in need now. Many people have reached out to us wanting to help in some way. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated but if you can’t donate money please continue to pray for Alese and her family.
