Alex Amini's Recovery Fund - Motorcycle Accident

Our beloved Alex Amini was in a severe motorcycle accident riding home from work on the afternoon of May 5th.

Alex has been in the ICU for 5 days and sustained life altering injuries, there will be a long and painful road to recovery. He broke his spine in two places, ribs, sternum, shoulder and wrists as well as fracturing his neck.

There are substantial costs from medical bills, missing time from work, his physical therapy and rehabilitation to come, commuting to and from the hospital and doctors' appointments, recovering his bike, replacing lost personal items (his phone etc).. We do not know at this time when Alex will be able to work again and will require at home care from his partner Grace for the foreseeable future. This adds significant pressure to their ability to keep up with basic living expenses, plus the present and incoming medical bills.

Alex is a tremendous friend to all that know him with a big heart who can’t help but bring joy and laughter to those around him. The hospital staff said he is the luckiest guy not only for narrowly surviving this accident but due to how loved he is by everyone that has come to visit so far. Please help Alex in this time of need so that we can have him laughing and enjoying life with all of us again as soon as he can. They will need all the love and financial support they can find.
