Our friend Alex Chance has been out of work for two months dealing with as-yet undiagnosed digestive issues.
She has undergone dozens of diagnostic tests, been to the ER many times and had multiple hospital stays, and doctors still have not determined the root problem. She hasn’t been able to eat solid foods in weeks and is feeling very weak.
As of now she has been asked to stay in LA for further diagnostic tests but will have to pay for her own hotel and travel.
Due to gaps in insurance coverage getting to the root of this problem has already caused her to incur thousands in medical and travel costs.
Doctors aren’t sure when she will be able to get back to work. As a self-employed individual she is without her sole income for the foreseeable future. Every bit helps and is very much appreciated.
Donations will be used to pay past and future medical bills, travel costs associated with medical care, and living expenses.
