Alex De La Rosa

Our father, Alejandro De La Rosa, known to everyone as Alex, was a lot of things to a lot of people. He was a rocker who loved heavy metal, Star Wars, video games, Legos and having a good time with his friends. He also loved karaoke and would belt out all those heavy metal songs and rock ballads that he used to blast at full volume out of the little, brown Chevette he used to drive in high school. Time flew by and the highschool headbanger grew up to be a man who, sadly, would end up becoming very sick. That music would carry him through his hard days of dialysis and eventually he had to trade in the stage for a karaoke machine at home. Last week, my father was admitted into the hospital for an infection that ended up taking his life. The rocker passed away on the morning of Monday, February, 13, 2023...leaving this world and this life behind. Our father must be laid to rest. Unfortunately, no estate or funds were left behind to do so. We appreciate any help. If you knew our father or didn't...maybe you remember him up there on the stage at Rocky's Bordertown Cantina and Grill (his favorite place to be)...we appreciate any help you could send our way. My father wished to be cremated without a service. We hope you'll sing a song for him, take a shot for him and send prayers up above to him and hold on to the memories you have of him.
