Alex Duthie

Hi, On behalf of the FASDSuccess/Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Caregiver Success Facebook group, including Jeff & Tara Noble, the Moderators, Debbie, Laurie, Niki, Angelene, Heather, our Admin, Yvonne and all of our members, we are raising funds for the family of Alex Duthie to cover the costs of his funeral. Alex was the kindest man on the face of the planet. As a moderator of our FASD Caregiver Success Facebook group, Alex brought his compassionate heart to each interaction he had. He truly made our days better, whether by reaching out to tell us that our “safety mattered” or share a “wee chuckle”, Alex made us all feel like we were his best friend. Alex battled cancer for over 5 years and many, if not most of us believed that he would rally and beat this “thing” because that is what he did. Sadly, his passing last week has left a huge void in our hearts and this community. As a tribute to Alex and all he did for us, we are raising funds to help his wife, Sylvia and family pay for the costs associated with his funeral. Every penny counts, so whatever you can donate would be appreciated.
