Alex Ellis

On June 9th Alex will have open heart surgery to repair a defect she has had since birth but only recently discovered. Anyone lucky enough to know Alex are aware of what a smart, sweet, athletics loving person she is. For the Ellis family this is their second child diagnosed with a heart condition, their son Bobby’s condition will take life long management but cannot be surgically repaired. The Ellis’s have endured much over the past few years and will endure much over the next couple of months. Many have asked how they can help and as the medical bills start to add up my hope is to help ease the burden of those bills. Alex’s surgery will be intense followed by several months of recovery. I wish no child had to face the challenges that lay ahead for Alex but I know she will face them with bravery and strength.
