Alex Hawkinson's Beautiful Life & Kate and Ellie Alexander

On Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 the world was rocked by the loss of the most loving father and partner in life, Alex Hawkinson. With so much love and light to share with this world, one of his greatest blessings is his beautiful family Kate Gruba and Ellie Alexander Hawkinson. Alex shared unwavering and unconditional love and support with his family, caring for them in every way possible...and then some. A love and energy that will shine through, protect, and guide Kate and Ellie as they navigate the unthinkable - a life without the physical presence, of support, love, and hugs from Alex.

In this unimaginable time, with Kate's blessing, we are creating a GoFundMe to share financial support for Kate as she manages the costs of daily living shifting from dual-income to single-income while raising a beautiful baby girl. We would like to create a safety net fund for Ellie as she grows up navigating this world without her fathers presence. If you are able to donate to ease some of the weight on Alex's loved ones, it will truly help Kate and Ellie in these coming weeks and months. So surrounded. Grief is a portal and I am just going to keep stepping through it. I got his name tattooed today right underneath Ellie’s in his handwriting. The artist who did such a beautiful job, shared with me that he experienced the same loss, the same way.

I told him all the time that he met me because I was meant to show him real love and how it felt to be known and I know that I gave that to him. I am so lucky that I got to be the one he loved. That I have our daughter. That I love the way I do so that I can be supported the way that I am. he is with me now and he always will be. Love you baby thank u for u."
