Alex heading to Junior Hockey

Hello everyone and thank you for taking some time to stop and read this. Alex Harwell is a 16 year high school student in Charlotte NC. He’s played ice hockey since he was 4 years old and has devoted his entire life to being the best athlete and student that he can be. He has the opportunity to move into the next level of ice hockey (Juniors) which will carry him further in his dream to be a professional hockey player. His goals are to attend the Univesity of Michigan to play and hopefully continue that into a professional hockey career.

Unfortunately for Alex, hockey is one of the most expensive sports to play, and a large number of great athletes have to give up their goal of continuing to play their sport simply because their parents cannot afford to pay. Alex’s parents are doing everything they can do to make sure to give him his dreams, but it’s killing them to know that their kid’s dream is on the line over something like money. We just want to do everything we can to help support Alex and his family, and hopefully help a really great kid achieve his goals and dreams.

Alex is 6’3” 180lbs, which is HUGE for ice hockey. This season his stats were 42 games played, 26 goals, 28 assists, and 54 total points.

Anything that we can collect will help, but we just want to see a kid who has a dream actually get to achieve it.

The money will go directly to the Junior organization that has offered him a contract (until he signs we can’t say their name) and will cover his equipment, his team apparel, and the food cost for the season. After that his parents will pay a monthly amount (to total around $10,000) throughout the season which covers the ice time, the bus, the travel, and the coaching staff. Anything above and beyond the amount set will also go directly to the team. This is 100% for Alex to grow in the sport he loves.
