Alex Kummer Memorial Fund

The life of Alex Kummer tragically ended on September 4th, 2021. He was sixteen years old.

Alex's life would seem too short to many, but those whose lives were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Alex lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and was a junior at Harrisburg High School. He played baseball for Harrisburg Baseball Association and was a part of his High School Youth Group at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church. He enjoyed the outdoors with his friends and family.

Alex was a caring young man who touched many people at school and the activities he was involved in. His calm, quiet leadership was an example of his outstanding character. He was an excellent student who took pride in his work. Being a good friend was important to Alex and he had an impact to all who came in contact with him.

Alex will be missed by everyone who knew him; especially his mom and dad, Stef and Bob, and siblings Kayden and Maddie.

This account has been set up for memorials to be sent in lieu of flowers for the funeral of Alex Kummer. Funds will be distributed to various organizations in Alex's name under the discretion of his family.
