Alex Burton Livlihood Fundraiser

My husaband Alexander Burton was walking home from his job site when he was struck from behind by a car going 50mph.  The driver did not stop  and Alex was left in a ditch for around an hour before he was spotted by another driver who called for help.  He was rushed to the OHSU trauma unit, where he will undergo at least three surgeries. 
 He experienced a factured shoulder, broken forarm, shattered pelvis, torn ACL, MCL and PCL as well as a broken fibula.  Once his surgeries are complete he will then undergo physical rehabilitaion for many months to follow.  
Alex is a full time construction worker and the primary provider for our home and family.  We are hoping to raise money for our monthly mortgage cost while Alex is in recovery, which is an estimated 8 months to a year.  Starting January we are  not sure how we will be able to make ends meet.  
The set goal amount will cover our mortgage for up to 6 months giving us time to figure out whether we can afford to maintian our home or find a new place to settle and assess the next steps in starting over.  We will be greatful for any donation one is comfortable with, no amount is too small.  Aside from finacail support,  please feel free to reach out to Alex.   Your kind thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.
