Our sweet Alex gained his angel wings early this morning (Jan 4) due to COVID. Please help us help Alex’s family.
On May 15, 1992, Alexander Stanley Ruffo made his arrival into the loving arms of his mother, Tonya Ruffo, after being born not breathing. In his infancy, Tonya actively sought a medical diagnosis and care for his upbringing after Alex suffered failure to thrive . She was told to be prepared he would never walk, had a poor prognosis of life, and would not live pass the age of 2. Instead, God had different plans.
Tonya devoted her life to providing personal care to Alex and saw to it he had everything he needed to live his best life. He learned to walk, learned to communicate giving kisses, cheesy face, fist bumps and nose picks, and lived many more years than expected. Alex showed he was a true fighter and overcame many obstacles, illnesses and hospitalizations over the years defying many odds with his mother by his side every step of the way. Alex was ready to go home and gained his angel wings surrounded by his family on January 4, 2021 at Kaweah Delta.

The family is not only having to work through the emotional burden of losing their son and brother, but also Tonya will be losing her income as she was his sole caregiver. Any assistance to help get them through this time and assist with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated!
