Supporting Alex Skrynnik’s Journey to Healing

In the heart of life's most challenging storms, we find strength in unity, love, and unwavering faith. We come before you with heavy hearts and tearful eyes, seeking your support and prayers for our beloved dad, who has faced the greatest trials life could bestow upon him.

This summer has been an emotional rollercoaster for our family as our dad bravely underwent brain surgery not once, but twice, battling complications and infections with an unwavering spirit. As if that were not enough, back in October 2020, he was diagnosed with the relentless foe, acute B-cell type leukemia. These past three years have tested us in ways we could never have imagined, but through it all, we have witnessed the miracles that only God's grace can bestow.

Our dad, a pillar of strength and a beacon of love, has not faced this battle alone. Beside him stands his amazing wife, our resilient mother, who has been a steadfast pillar of support. Together, they have shown us what true love means, embracing each moment with courage, determination, and hope.

Our family has also been blessed with the outpouring of love and prayers from our church communities, which has been nothing short of extraordinary, reminding us of the power of faith and the strength of unity.

In the aftermath of two challenging brain surgeries, my dad's strength has been tested, leaving him without full control of his right side. The journey to recovery has been a daunting one, with physical therapy becoming an essential part of his daily routine. The road ahead is long and arduous, as we strive to help him regain control of his fingers and witness the remarkable resilience of the human spirit. With unwavering faith and determination, we believe in his ability to conquer these obstacles and overcome the hurdles that lie ahead.

Over the past three years and throughout this trying period, my mom has been our unwavering rock, selflessly taking on the responsibility of being the sole provider, ensuring our financial stability. Despite shouldering this burden, she never hesitated to miss work to be by my dad's side during his appointments and offer him the love and support he needed. As he embarks on this crucial recovery journey, she needs to be there for him more than ever in the coming months. We humbly reach out for support during this challenging time, knowing that every little contribution makes a significant difference. We firmly believe that with the grace of God, our family will be cared for, and His love will guide us through these trying times, reaffirming our faith in the miracle of His providence.
