Hi, I'm Brittney Vazquez Alex's wife❤️ this is so hard for me to do...... My family was hit with COVID-19 and my husband ended up getting COVID pneumonia. ... He has been fighting for his life on the ventilator for 37 days..... He put up the biggest fight ever to stay with our kids. Angelina (12), Martin Jr (10), Rosie (7) and Sofia (5). He had some days were he would open his eyes and try to talk to me and reaching for my hand and smile to having bad days were they had to go up on oxygen levels on ventilator, or both of his lungs callapsed and had a leak in his tracheostomy tube and having two chest tubes. Or his heart rate going through the roof and over breathing on ventilator. Having to be heavily sedated and paralyzed and having to prone him....... he had such a rough time through all this...... He went through so much I can't even explain it all....... There were so many ups and downs....... It has been the most horrific time in my life..... Seeing Alex struggling to survive, seeing the kids so heart broken.... Not know what was going to happen. Everyday was different..... but no matter what Alex fought and fought so hard and I made sure the doctors did above and beyond to care for him and help him..... But unfortunately now the doctors can't do anything else to help him......... His body can't take no more and he's so sick. His lungs are beyond damaged from COVID that now the doctors can't help him anymore. Tomorrow they will be taking him off life support around noon..... I never thought in a million years I would lose my best friend!!!! The love of my life the father of my kids...... things will never be the same after tomorrow..... i will remember 9/20/21 as one of the worst days of my life forever!!!! I really wish God would have given my kids and I more time with Alex...... It's so hard and painful!!!!

Hola, soy la esposa de Brittney Vazquez Alex❤️ esto es muy difícil de hacer para mí ... Mi familia fue afectada por COVID-19 y mi esposo terminó contrayendo neumonía COVID. ... Ha estado luchando por su vida con el ventilador durante 37 días ..... Dio la mayor pelea para quedarse con nuestros hijos. Angelina (12), Martin Jr (10), Rosie (7) y Sofia (5). Tenía algunos días en los que abría los ojos y trataba de hablar conmigo y tomaba mi mano y sonreía al tener días malos en los que tenían que subir los niveles de oxígeno en el ventilador, o en ambos pulmones se colapsaban y tenían una fuga. su tubo de traqueotomía y tener dos tubos torácicos. O su frecuencia cardíaca subiendo por las nubes y respirando demasiado en el ventilador. Tener que estar fuertemente sedado y paralizado y tener que inclinarlo ... lo pasó tan mal con todo esto ... Pasó por tantas cosas que ni siquiera puedo explicarlo todo ... .... Hubo tantos altibajos ....... Ha sido el momento más horrible de mi vida ..... Ver a Alex luchando por sobrevivir, ver a los niños con el corazón roto ... No saber lo que iba a pasar. Cada día era diferente ... pero no importa lo que Alex luchara y luchara tan duro y me aseguré de que los médicos hicieran todo lo posible para cuidarlo y ayudarlo ... Pero desafortunadamente ahora los médicos no pueden hacer nada más para ayudarlo ... Su cuerpo no puede soportar más y está tan enfermo. Sus pulmones están más que dañados por COVID y ahora los médicos ya no pueden ayudarlo. Mañana le quitarán el soporte vital alrededor del mediodía ... ¡Nunca pensé en un millón de años que perdería a mi mejor amigo! El amor de mi vida, el padre de mis hijos ... las cosas nunca volverán a ser las mismas después de mañana ... ¡¡¡recordaré el 20/9/21 como uno de los peores días de mi vida para siempre !!! ! Realmente desearía que Dios nos hubiera dado a mis hijos y a mí más tiempo con Alex ... ¡¡¡¡Es tan difícil y doloroso !!!!
