Alex, Victoria and Troy Hurricane Relief

Hey Everyone, I'm LaLa! We all know the tragedy that hit Florida last week. I was just there a week and a half ago after playing Island Hopper Songwriter Festival and got out the day the Hurricane hit. Unfortunately, many of my friends in various parts of Florida lost everything and/or had overwhelming damage to their homes. I wanted to put this GoFundMe out there and see if we can help a few of them out that I know would never feel comfortable doing this for themselves but REALLY need our help.

First... my friends, Victoria Jean and her fiance Alex Bloom are facing a tough road ahead. Their house flooded and developed mold throughout the entire home and they lost all of their belongings inside.

In Florida you have home insurance, content insurance and hurricane insurance, but unless your in a “flood zone,” most people don't have flood insurance, and unfortunately, their home and contents were not covered.

They have been working on getting the water out and cutting the walls open to dry them out.

Thus far, they've assessed damage of around 80K. Gulp!

Now that they have nearly gotten through the immediate work of getting the water out and gutting their home, they are faced with the longterm reality of their situation, facing mold and sewage issues and looking at a very expensive rebuild and replacing process.

As for my friend Troy, he manages a palm tree farm and has a massive clean up ahead of him so he will likely be hiring a lot of help in the process.

These are amazing friends who have touched so many others' lives. Let's help them out during this difficult time.
