This fund was set up by Alex's friends to help pay for funeral expenses. The proceeds from this fund will go directly to Alex's mother, Ellen Yerkey.

He was tragically taken from his family and friends unexpectedly on March 26th, 2023. This is also there to help out his family in their time of need. Everyone who knew Alex knew he was the most caring, down to earth person you have ever known and was always there for anyone who needed him. Alex was a talented musician, loved to play hockey and baseball, and took great pride in his work to make the city a better place. Anything will be very much appreciated in this time of grievance.
