Alexander Dyer's Recovery

Hello, my name is Ashley and I am raising money for my friend and the father of my son who on Friday, February 3, 2023, had a ski accident while enjoying night skiing with his son and friends.

Sadly Alex broke his femur/hip and had to have emergency surgery on February 4, 2023, at St. Luke's in Ketchum Idaho. Because of the severity of the injury, the surgeon had to place 3 large screws to stabilize his hip and keep it intact. Alex began his recovery in the hospital where he remained for the next 4 days.

Alex has only begun his recovery process. His doctors warned him that it will be a long 2-3 month healing process where he will be out of work and undergo some intense physical therapy to regain his mobility. Not only will he be out of work for an extended period but now he is also facing some hefty medical bills on top of it all. Luckily he does have insurance but that will only scratch the expected fees owed for the surgery and the hospital stay. All funds donated will go towards medical bills and income to cover the costs of living while he is unable to work.
