It is with a shattered heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Alexander Karmaniolos.

Alex fought courageously and fiercely against metastatic esophageal cancer over the last 8 months to his very last breath.

He was entirely dedicated to his family, the hardest worker most people knew, and a rare light in this world. Our lives will never be the same, but, we know how lucky we all are to have had something and someone so hard to say goodbye to.

In the last month Alex continued to repeat that "life is so beautiful." In honor of Alex, take a moment today and recognize something you take for granted on a daily basis.

Alex was such a giving person. Whether he was working hard to raise funds for those in need or lending a helping hand to a neighbor, family member, or friend, Alex was ready and willing to show his generosity. During this difficult time, lets take Alex's lead and show the Karmaniolos family how much they are loved and supported.
