Our beloved brother, son, father and spouse Alexander Kasimtsev has passed away in a freak accident. The world shuttered for our families and we sincerely ask for your help and generosity in this difficult time.

During COVID-19 pandemic Alexander continued working as a truck driver and was away from all his family for a month and a half. Delivering essentials across the country, he was going through financial hardship along with the country-businesses are shutting down, truck loads prices are down. His truck broke two times in this short time and the repairs combined costed nearly $30,000 that were put on a credit card. Family bills were mounting and he was stressed to make ends meet.

Alexander was in Missouri when tragedy happened. That Sunday after he completed a delivery, Alexander was visiting friends to celebrate Orthodox Easter and even participated in a child's birthday party but abruptly left at 3 pm. Unbeknownst to us, his family members, he contacted a friend who was an Ultralight enthusiast and just purchased his own Ultralight, they went for test flight on a single pilot airplane nearby Strafford, Missouri.

When my beloved brother took his turn to fly the plane and when he was gaining height the left wing buckled up and folded. He dropped to the ground like a stone and even though he was not high above the ground he sustained severe injuries and passed away at the scene.

On April 19, 2020 our lives have changed forever and we suffered an unthinkable loss.

Alexander and Katya have two beautiful children Alina 13 years old and Daniel 5 years old. Our hearts break for them and we are all concerned about their future without their provider.

Alexander was a daunting father, and he most enjoyed spending time with his family, going on fishing trips with children and barbecuing by the sea.   Alexander is mourned by everyone who knew him for he was such a kind and positive person. Nothing can bring him back and restore that beautiful family, but we can help lift the weight off their shoulders for now they are facing loss of a loved one and financial devastation. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support as we go through this tragedy.

We understand how difficult it is for everyone today in this world of job loss and quarantine and we appreciate anything you can contribute. This fund is set up to provide long term support for Alexander's children and cover funeral expenses as well as Alexander's debt so his family can stay afloat and in their apartment.

My name is Tatiana Kasimtseva, I am victim's sister and I will be responsible for withdrawing and transferring these funds to family of my brother and debtors and will provide all visibility of funds use.  Thank you for your help. Please help us share this story on Facebook
