Alexander Robert Berthelsen

Hi, my name is Amy and I'm fundraising for my oldest son, Alexander Robert Berthelsen.

Alex just turned 32 years old on June 21st 2024.

On his 31st birthday his present was that he has Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer that has a tendency to metastasize aggressively.

His cancer has now spread to his spine, brain and lungs.

He was put on hospice EXACTLY 1 yr later after finding out he was terminal.

Alex had decided before he was hospitalized again, that he wants to donate his body to the Science program at the U of M. In hopes that they will find a cure someday.

We are looking for help with expenses towards his urn(s) and his last wish of having a Celebration of life party upon his death......

Alex asked that the services be held in his hometown of Park Rapids, MN and we hope to raise enough funds to use Cease Funeral home in Park Rapids.
