Help Alex Fight Ewing Sarcoma

We are asking for help to offset medical expenses, transportation, meals, and hotel stays while Alex is fighting Ewing Sarcoma! After a few months of horrible pain that would come and go, to the point of not being able to walk at times, Alex was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma on April 12th. Alex will be inpatient during all of his treatments, with breaks in-between to allow rest. His treatments are 72 miles away from home on way, and will require several trips a month. He will have six rounds of chemotherapy, lasting a minimum of 12 weeks, followed by surgery on his leg, and then eight more rounds of chemotherapy lasting a minimum of 16 weeks. Alex's surgery will be in Rochester at Mayo, which is approximately 300 miles away from home one way, he will have a lengthy hospital stay. After surgery, the chemotherapy will start back up for a minimum of 16 weeks. After approximately three months, Alex will begin physical therapy to relearn how to walk and do normal things again. Alex's journey is going to be a long one, around a year, if not longer. Any donation would be a blessing to help with medical items and prescriptions that are not covered by insurance, transportation to & from appointments, hotel stays, meals and help with other bills from missing work.
