Alexandra Schmitt
Donation protected
This is our beautiful, kind soul, Alexandra. She needs your prayers. She was in a car wreck Tuesday and was very badly injured. The doctors have done what they can and prayers are all we have left.
Donations made will go to support Lex’s Learning Foundation.
In the days following Alexandra’s tragic accident, her family decided to use the money being donated to start a foundation that will help continue Alexandra’s passions for science, nature, and learning. Lex’s Learning Foundation provides hands-on science activities for students in our community.
Thank you for your support.
10/4: We talked to the trauma doctors today. Recovery is not expected. The damage was just too bad.
10/6: My beautiful, sweet baby girl will become a hero Sunday. Her life was all about caring for others. She will continue to do so. Please continue to pray for Alexandra and our family and friends as we go through this process together. God did not give her an easy path in life, but she walked it with her head held high. She can now lay her burdens down and be at peace.
10/7: Today is the day that my baby does her final good deed and saves the lives of others. God kept her protected in the accident and all of her organs are healthy. She will give the gift of life to several people. Her hero walk will take place tonight at 8:15.
We are still in the process of making plans for her celebration. We are planning now for Tuesday after school. As always, pray for her loving soul and pray for our family.
10/9: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her GoFundMe, the proceeds of which will be used to establish Lex’s Learning Foundation which seeks to provide hands-on science opportunities for students at Rosenthal Montessori and other community schools. Alexandra would also encourage friends to continue her support of Autism awareness and the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA).
