Alexis and Campbell with Hurricane Relief

Update- Alexis received some quotes this week from cleaning companies that were in the thousands, talk about sticker shock and gut-wrenching numbers . All of your support will continue to contribute to ensuring her home is cleaned appropriately to be safe for Campbell and her to return. At this time everywhere is several weeks out which continues to make this such a difficult time for them. Please continue to support if you can and thank you to everyone who has helped! Our sweet friends just moved back home to California and got settled when they were hit by Hurricane Hillary. At this time they have lost almost everything but their clothes. Unfortunately, insurance is not willing to step in to help saying it was due to water coming in from outside so it is excluded from their policy. There is also no disaster assistance currently in Palm Dessert. Alexis would never ask for help but I know this is a stressful time for her to figure out how to get back on her feet. At this time her and Campbell are not allowed to return to her home due to damages and repairs needed. Any donation would be such a huge burden lifted off her shoulders and will be used to replace flooring, dry wall, damaged furniture, ensure there is no mold growing, and any other repairs to make her home livable again for her and Campbell.
