Alexis Bennett

Yesterday I received the news that my oldest daughter, Alexis, passed away. This was sudden and completely unexpected. I am in Ohio, and she lived in New York. I am unable to pay for cremation expenses and a place to stay while dealing with things out of state. I am asking for help to cover those. I am at a loss and do not know what to do.

Alexis was born in 1995, and she was loved by so many. She was so smart, so kind, so thoughtful. A few years ago, she told me she was transgender. For several years, she'd been living with a lot of mental health issues, and this ultimately culminated in her death.
