Alexis' access to HRT fund

Alexis Hill came out as a woman six years ago. She was 22 years old. In the intervening years, she hasn’t been able to begin transitioning into her true body and identity. Her inability to transition has also made it impossible to obtain employment in rural Georgia, where she takes care of her elderly grandparents.


Because of her inability to access affordable transition and medical care, her mental and physical health have suffered greatly. She needs access to hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to take her first step towards gender affirmation.

Doctor’s Appointments:

First appointment: $299

Three required follow-up appointments in first year: $199 each

Mandatory labs at each visit: $99

Medications (likely estrogen, spironolactone, and finasteride): approximately $100/month
