Alex's ALL Journey

A message from Tayla (Alex's mum) -

Our 2 year old son Alex has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) - A cancer of the blood and bone marrow. We are currently in Melbourne at the Royal Children's Hospital receiving treatment

Alex has been so brave. He's had multiple scans, xrays, ultrasounds, blood tests, blood/platelet transfusions and a central line inserted. As of today he's now had and 6 rounds of Chemotherapy

Our eldest son Rory (aged 4) is at home in Bendigo with Jayden throughout the week. We've been trying to keep him within a normal routine as much as we can. He is very worried about Alex and is missing us both at home

This will be a long journey for not only Alex, but for our family too and I really appreciate all of the support we have received so far. It means alot to have you all checking in and caring for our boys
