Help us get through the winter

Update: After a rough break into the new year we've had to put down one of our cats. He was a good old man of 20 years who was a light in our lives. there was not an aggressive bone in his body, and all he wanted to do was snuggle and be near us. He struggled with congestive heart failure, and it finally took its toll just after the turn of the new year. Vet bills on top of the other bills are doing more than just straining our money. Anything at all is welcome and makes a huge difference in our day to day lives.
Hi! My name is Alex, and I'm a dog groomer of over ten years. A job I greatly enjoy, as I get to work with some amazing dogs and people. It is a passion of mine, and something I plan to do for many years to come. While it is not the highest paying job out there, it has been enough with a two income family to get by.
Unfortunately, my husband has been out of work due to a disability which has left our household in a difficult situation. I have become the sole income provider for myself and my family. With bills coming due it has become increasingly hard to keep up with everything as we round into the hardest part of the year. As everything, especially food, has become overinflated by corporate greed we struggle with juggling bills and also finding ways to feed ourselves. It hasn't been easy, and more and more it has become a fight to decide how to float bills and feed ourselves.
I only ask what would give our family a chance to breathe. A chance to keep our only car, so that I can continue to work and support my family. A chance to not have to decide between eating and mortgage. Anything helps and will all be used to keep our little family from struggling through a Louisiana winter. Thank you!
