Alex's Gender Confirmation Surgery

Hey!

As you may have figured out, my name is Hera and I'm currently transitioning from male to female. My story doesn't fit well into the standard trans narrative. I don't recall specifically wanting to be female when I was a kid, but looking back there were signs. I had subconsciously avoided learning about what it means to be trans (i.e. hormones, surgery, etc) out of internalized transphobia. When it was spelled out for me I just knew. I started therapy as soon as I could and soon got my first prescription for hormones. I found my depression bleeding away. Suddenly, I was alright with having my picture taken and I even started smiling in them! I'm learning that I've wanted this surgery for a while now but I know it will take a while to raise the money so please donate or share. Thank you so much for your help!
