Alfie Nicholas-tragic accident in Benidorm 24Aug

Hello dear friends,

I am Loraine, Jordan Hedley's mum and nanna to Alfie and Mia Nicholas on Jordan's side of the family.

As you may already know, Alfie was seriously injured in a terrible accident while on holiday in Spain with his much-loved Nanna Janet Hobbs, and Grandad John (Digger) Nicholas. The family are devastated by the tragic sudden loss of Nanna Janet, who did not survive the accident. The grief is terrible.

Alfie is still in hospital in Spain after being in Intensive care for a week. One of his injuries was a badly broken jaw, and he is undergoing surgery tomorrow (Tuesday) . Tom and Jordan are with him and have been beside him day and night. The shock and strain has been very hard on all of them. Also Mia has been very upset and has been staying with me since the accident but misses them all so much.

I have started this fundraiser so that everybody who knows and cares about Alfie could unite to provide some funds for him to have something nice to look forward to when he is well again. He will need a lot of dental work, and possibly more scans and surgery in the future for his jaw, broken bones, and fractured skull, so he will have many painful procedures when he comes home.

He's been so brave and is also grieving for his lost Nanna Janet (Tom's mum). He's dealing with so much for his young age. If you would like to contribute towards something of his own choosing, to look forward to, and also help him to repair and in time recover, it would make him so happy to know you are there for him.
