Alfonso recover from a severe burn accident

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share with you that my uncle suffered a terrible accident last week while working on his boat. A fire broke out and he was caught in it. He was immediately taken to the hospital and then transferred to a burn center where he currently is in the ICU. Unfortunately, he has sustained second-degree and third-degree burns on his face and body. He recently underwent surgery for skin grafting and will be going back for another round of the same. At this moment Alfonso is enduring excruciating pain every day as the medical staff continue to wipe off the dead skin. As you can imagine, he is covered in bandages.

We are grateful to God that he survived, but his recovery will be a long and painful one. I am writing to request your help. Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy and full recovery without any complications or infections as burn victims are at a high risk of infections. With this, the medical bills have already started piling up, and my uncle will no longer be able to work. Moreover, his wife will be out of work helping him recover. We created this page to try to help alleviate the financial burden so my aunt can focus on helping him recover.
