Celebrating the life of Alfredo"Freddie"Hernandez

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Father Alfredo "Freddie" Hernández." Our Dad had a true heart for serving the Lord and his community. Everyone knew him for his nutty personality and charisma. He always found a way to give back to the community by outreach, hosting recovery classes, and giving back to the homeless.

Although he struggled with his own addictions, he never stopped loving and trusting in the Lord. My sister and I have peace in knowing that you are resting in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ. Rest in paradise, Daddy you don't have to struggle anymore. We love you so much Daddy!

Our Father resided in Tampa Florida, and at this time, we are raising funds to have his remains bought to Chicago for His Home-Going Memorial service. As many of you know the costs of a Funeral can take an enormous toll on the family. Since our Father was a huge community leader, we are asking his closest friends, family, and community to contribute to his transit expenses and his home-going service. Our family will greatly appreciate any donation to ease this financial burden.
