It has been 5 painful years without a suitable Islamic center, and now, by the Grace and Mercy of Allah, we have finally found one! And now we need YOUR help to keep it alive!

Al-Hikmah Center, as you all know, has been providing services for this community for over 15 years. Whether it be Quran memorization classes, teaching tafseer, ahadeeth, fiqh, and other Islamic sciences; the center serves and continues to prioritize quality education. We engage our youth in programs that let them grow as individuals, allowing them to become self-fulfilled and successful, while building bonds with one another as brothers and sisters in Islam.

When COVID came, we were devastated like many others, and were forced to close the door shut. But, through YOUR help (after the help of Allah), we had a very successful and beneficial fundraising campaign. We were able to establish a small center to continue the khayraat, including Quran classes and Islamic lessons.

Now, we need your help more than ever! In this blessed month of Ramadan , we are appealing to you – our community and the Muslim community at large – to help us manage our expenses and sustain ourselves for a whole year. And we think we can do it through your generosity!

What better time to give than in Ramadan? We sincerely hope you can take a part in this great cause and share the word around as well, far and wide, for "Whoever guides someone to virtue will be rewarded equivalent to him who practices that good action" (Hadith).

A Little History

Al-Hikmah Centre started as an idea of an individual, Sh. Abdulqani Farrah Mursal, to establish a healthy Muslim community and to spread the knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah amongst both the youth and the elders around them.

The centre continues to serve as a safe and supportive environment for our youth to learn about their faith and connect with their community. The future of our Muslim Community depends on both the quality of Islamic education, and the upbringing environment in which we provide for our youth today.

Today, the graduates of Al-Hikmah Center continue their studies locally here in Canada or are enrolled in Islamic universities overseas as far as Cairo, Riyadh, Madinah and other rigorous programs across the Muslim world.
