Help Adham's family evacuate from Gaza

Donation protected
Hello, My Name is Adham Al-Ajla , and I am from the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City. I am a graphic designer and studied Information Technology and graphic design at the University Faculty of science. My family and I enjoyed beautiful days in a beautiful house. Our simple life was completely destroyed when our house was bombed on October 27, 2023 (photos below). We have lost everything we had.

We have also lost many of our loved ones. In this terrible war.
My immediate family, including me, my wife, our four children, dad, mom, sister and brother, ran first to my uncle's house outside Shuja'iya and then to the Arab National Hospital, which was also bombed. We miraculously escaped death. After the bombing of the hospital, numerous confrontations with death, we fled to Rafah. I once dreamed of becoming a World graphic designer, but the war shattered my dreams and those of my family.

I was working in a Saudi online marketing company and with other companies as a graphic designer. I was outstanding in my work and had many happy clients when the genocide started. Since our house was bombed, I lost my laptop and then my customers, my source of income. I have no money to buy another device.

And after living homeless for 7 days on the streets of Rafah, we secured tents and this is where we are now. Our children are cold and hungry, we lack sanitary supplies, we drink contaminated water, we do not have enough food, which further aggravates our suffering. The war has been devastating and we are facing unimaginable difficulties. We fear an imminent invasion by the Israeli army.
I ask for your help to get my family across the Egyptian border to safety before the invasion.

What is needed:
The cost of traveling to Egypt through Yahla travel and tourism company is 5000 dollars per person. We are a family of 10 members. I am Adham and my wife, and my children are Moed 9 years old, Ghazal 8 years old, Mahmoud 4 years old, Ahmed 3 years old. My father Hani is 50 years old and my mother Ibtisam is 45 years old. My brother Muhammad is 22 years old, and my sister Inas is 25 years old.

Saving our family means overcoming financial and bureaucratic challenges. The costs of safe passage to Egypt and obtaining the necessary legal documents are very significant obstacles that we cannot overcome on our own.

The opportunity to evacuate to a safe place is looming, but the road ahead is full of obstacles. To safely cross the Rafah border and get to Egypt, each adult must pay 5,000 dollars, and 2,500 dollars for those under the age of 16. Judging by conversations with friends who crossed the border, the costs of transportation from Rafah to Egypt have increased significantly during the ongoing war.

When I arrive in Egypt, we will also need to secure housing, buy basic items to furnish our living space such as mattresses, and buy a new laptop so that I can continue working.

While our intention is to secure work and become self-sufficient, it would be very helpful if we could cover the rental and living costs for a few months while we process the trauma we have experienced. In addition, my family needs immediate access to health care for medical examinations, as months of unhealthy food and exposure to various diseases have affected our shelters. The estimated cost of all these needs is about 5000 dollars.

Distribution of costs:
6 adults to enter Egypt = 6 × 5000 USD = 35000 USD
4 children to enter Egypt = 4 × 2500 USD = 10000 USD
Living expenses for 3 months to move in Egypt = 5000 USD
Total: USD 50,000 or about GBP 50,000
GoFundme is a valuable platform to support the needs of many around the world, but it does not allow Middle Eastern citizens like me to withdraw funds unless we have European bank accounts. My close friend from Belgium, Rami Hani, has offered to help me withdraw money from this crowdfunding and then make sure I receive it. The donated funds will be used to complete the registration process with the travel agency, cover the associated fees and cover our living expenses in Egypt.

Through GoFundMe, I appeal to you not only as potential donors but as beacons of hope in our darkest hours, to help us rise from the ashes and rebuild our shattered lives.

Your contribution is a lifeline for my family and many others like us. It will not only provide sustenance and shelter, but also restore the tools I need to rebuild my career as a graphic designer. Your generosity will breathe new life into our family, ignite hope and inspiration that can help us overcome the harsh realities we face.
