Alice Stewart Memorial Garden fund

When the Town voted to build a new library a site was needed. ALICE STEWART stepped forward and donated the land whre the library now sits. Her generous donation saved the Town a great deal of money.

Recently, Alice passed away quite suddenly, Her thoughtful an generous presence will be greatly missed.

Besides reading, one of Alice's favorite things in life was gardening. We would like to create a Memorial garden in her honor behind the library overlooking Alice's Meadow. Many of the plantings will be transplanted from her garden. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
