Alice Tanners Funeral Expenses

On Wednesday November 16 we unexpectedly lost our Mother. This has been very difficult for everyone. Their income was limited due to health reasons. And We are trying to help our Father ease the burden of the funeral and burial expenses During this difficult time. We are asking if anyone is willing to donate to this dear man, it would truly be a blessing. These two were always there to help out anyway they could, and now we are asking for your help.

Alice F. Tanner , 65, of Wadsworth, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Summa Akron City Hospital.

Alice was born February 8, 1957 in Virgie, Kentucky to Tennis and Edna {Mullens} Bates.

She married Donald Tanner on May 29, 1974. He survives.

She attended Ambassador Baptist Church. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, watching traffic and playing solitaire.

Alice will be deeply missed by her husband; children Dwayne (Amanda) Tanner of Wadsworth, Crystal (Ed) Workman of Rittman, and Teresa Cropp of Rittman; grandchildren Jennifer (Ryan) Morrison, Alivia Tanner, Ava Cropp, Josie (Mark) Cameron, Seth Wigfield, and Trent Wigfield; many great-grandchildren; brothers Kenny (Carylon), Carl, Terry, and Ricky (Kathy) Bates; sisters Cheryl (Joey) Tackett, Geral Adkins, and Rose (Johnny) Mumaw.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Monday from 10 to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Services will be Monday at 12 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Decker officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
