Alicen Fight Cancer: Chemo and Radiation Support

Hey Y'all: I am Alicen's sister, Kasha, and after spending a week with her post-op, I came to the realization that fighting cancer is NOT inexpensive.

Alicen's cancer was found in her lymph nodes (several were removed) and she will now be doing 30 treatments of radiation in conjunction with 6 weeks of chemotherapy.

Expenses that are anticipated:

Additional lab and insurance deductibles (EX: One single set of labs pre-op were $200 out of pocket.)

Assistance and direction from a Naturopath APRN (to advise for nutrition and immune therapy)

Various supplements to get her malfunctioning immune system up and running

Additional unpaid time off from work (between using all of her vacation/sick leave and disability, there will be some unpaid leave)

Potentially Alicen will need transportation to and from radiation (her local support all work full time jobs)
