Alicia Faulkner

Hi, my name is Bailey. I am starting this fundraiser collaboratively with my siblings Logan, Aaliyah, and Noah to raise funds for a gravestone in loving memory of our mother, Alicia Faulkner. For those who are unsure, we lost our mom tragically and suddenly in January of 2023. Since then our lives have changed drastically. Alicia was a crazy, fun, loving Mother, Sister, Daughter and more. She loved singing and enjoying moments with her family and friends. She was often found somewhere in nature strumming a guitar.

For those of you who had the opportunity to know Alicia, you know how much charachter, personality and joy she was.

During this slow and intimate healing process, I have learned that grief is really just love with no place to go. Learning this and speaking with my family we all agreed it is time to give our mom a place to rest peacefully accompanied by visiting loved ones. The loss we all suffered is not easily overcome. This gives us the opportunity to have a special place to shed tears, scream in anger and lay in darkness. Having a special place for our mom offers a place for loved ones to cry if they must but more importantly laugh, sing, and enjoy the happiness life brings. This is the start of learning how to live through the love and spirit Alicia left behind.

Our plan is to bury Alicia at the Greenwood cemetery next to her grandmother, Judy and her beloved, Harland Van Atta. We believe not only will this give everyone a place to meet Alicia again, but where she would like to be most.

My siblings and I are absolutely thrilled with this idea. We are most excited for everyone to have the opportunity to sit, chat, laugh and reminisce memories with warm company of our mom, Alicia.

To make this all happen, Logan, Aaliyah, Noah and I are asking for donations to go towards a Memorial Gravestone. Our goal is to reach $5,000 but of course, anything and everything is appreciated. Please help bring awareness to those family and friends of Alicia Faulkner who also long for a place to meet again.
