Alicia (Kelly) Field's back surgery

Everyone who knows Alicia, knows what a huge heart she has.  She would do anything to help her friends and family.  Heck, many of us consider her a BEST friend!  Now is the time to return the favor and take care of her.  Alicia is scheduled to have back surgery on the 23rd.  Long story short, the insurance company is giving her the runaround, yet the surgery needs to happen quickly, so the only option is to have to pay for a bigger portion out of pocket.  Alicia is having a hard time getting around, and cannot drive, and they're not sure when she will be able to.  With Jim working full time and spending evenings in graduate school, making meals and driving kids to activities will be challenging to say the least.  They also don't know if Alicia will be well enough to get back to work before her leave runs out.  It looks like the kids' school may cover meals for a while, but when I asked her how we could help, she said maybe gift cards to grocery stores??  We all know that Alicia is such a strong person, always the one doing the helping, so for her to admit SHE needs help was a big deal.  I could tell she's worried about getting through this financially.  Let's do better than gift cards.  Let's ease the pain of paying for surgery, lessen the burden of bills during this difficult time, and give them peace of mind if she can't get back to work right away.  Please consider helping.  Every single dollar helps.  And please share to get the word out.  If there's anyone with a thousand friends, it's Alicia!!
