Alicia's Rehabilitation and Recovery Journey

Hello everyone, I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Alicia, who is currently facing a challenging medical journey. Alicia has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and was awaiting major surgery to remove it this week. This has been an incredibly difficult time for her, filled with uncertainty and fear.

About seven weeks ago, Alicia noticed her right foot was not responding as it should. After several tests and a referral to a neurologist, a brain CT revealed an aggressive mass on her brain. She was immediately admitted to Hospital and is preparing for surgery to drain a cyst and remove the tumor. Despite the fear and uncertainty, Alicia remains hopeful and determined to face whatever comes next with courage. She one tough lady and I have no doubt we will take on everything head on.

Why We Need Your Help .

Alicia will need extensive rehabilitation after her surgery and will be unable to work during this recovery period. She has already used up her leave in the early stages of this, and it maybe weeks before we can access any support.

She is also far away from home, so travelling back and forth to assist and for her loved ones can be challenging and costly.

The funds raised will help cover her medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and essential living expenses while she takes time off work to heal.
