Alida in her journey in fighting her stage 4 terminal cancer

Hi, our names are Sonia and Anastasia and we are fundraising on behalf of a young mother and her daughter that recently came to Canada. They came here for a better life and unfortunately the dreams that they had has been interrupted by cervical cancer, which has spread to her bones, lungs, liver and head. Her name is Alida and she has a 6 year old daughter Katerina. Shortly after her diagnosis, Alida and her daughter were abandoned by her husband/father.

As you can imagine this has caused great financial challenges to overcome. She is currently reliant on Peel Housing, minimal financial assistance from the government and the generosity of others.
